In
order to study new chemical entities with pharmacotherapeutic activity, a department
of biotechnological research has been activated since 1993 at the manufacturing
plant of Geymonat S.p.A located in Anagni (Frosinone).
The research for endogenous substances which can have a positive effect in
the treatment of different human pathologies, is a major target of modern medicine,
which is constantly trying to meet the need to modify the body's responses.
The biotechnological research of new growth factors, especially the angiogenetic
ones, has a particularly important role.
